This tiny cocktail bar is difficult to spot, but it needs no neon sign - locals know where it is. While the crowds rage just outside on La Rambla, inside, this 1930s institution is cool and relaxing with black- jacketed and professional barmen. The daytime clientele are usually well dressed and elderly, while the night- time patrons are a more varied bunch, creating a livelier atmosphere.
