Montjuïc

Montjuïc is a shallow hill situated in Barcelona. Its appearance is flat on top  and overlooks the city center. In the 1800s, the forests in the hills were partly cleared to make way for building of parklands. This hill is home to famous buildings which are: the Estadi Olimpic, where 1992 Olympic Games was held, the Font Magica fountains and the Palau Nacional where Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya is located .

Here is also where you can locate the Montjuïc circuit where it was previously used for the Spanish Grand Prix.

 La Sagrada Familia

Known as the Temple of the Holy Family, La Sagrada Familia is one of the must see sight in Barcelona. The construction of this Catholic Church began in 1882 and is continuously being improved till today. This beautiful temple is one of Gaudi's best design buildong. He worked on this masterpiece for over forty years. This is projected to be completed by the year 1926.
