It is easy to identify a taxi in Barcelona; you would know them by their black and yellow bodies.  It is also easy to flag one down; all you need to do is to raise your hand to hail them.  You can also find queues of them near hotels and tourist spots.

Taking the Subway in Barcelona

The subway is the most convenient way to get around Barcelona, as it covers nearly all of the metro area.  However, it can be tricky to find the entrance to the station, so if you do not have a guide with you, be prepared to ask a local.  To save on subway fares, buy a multi-trip pass.
